Fundraiser Show for Chelsie Young

Chelsie Young, Singer/songwriter/musician/recording artist and single mother of 2 children, had been struggling for years with health issues that doctors and specialists have struggled to diagnose. Unable to work, she turned her love for music into a career to support her children. As her music career was reaching its peak, Her health slowly began deteriorating. For the sake of her fans, children and love for music, she pushed past all the symptoms of the undiagnosed illness until it eventually started to affect her vocals. After years of fighting the health care system for answers, test results finally showed a 14mm pituitary tumor and a positive result for a rare autoimmune disease. Both of which did not come with a definite diagnosis regardless of having all the symptoms and complications associated with both health conditions.

Because the healthcare system is broken and backed up, receiving the definite diagnosis needed to begin treatment for recovery is still going to be a long road. More tests are needed to determine the extent of the damage the diseases have already caused, and the wait time to see each individual specialist for each organ that has been affected is weeks to months long. Potentially causing the diseases she's suffered from, specifically in the last 3 years, to progress further while she waits.

We ask for your support to help alleviate some of that financial burden during the next couple months of her road to recovery by coming to her fundraiser show. We would also like to invite singers and musicians to pop in and donate their talents for a song or two along side the line up of her talented friends who have so graciously agreed to be your entertainment for the evening without hesitation.
